Never been able to find it here. I use Humbrol Clear which I think is the same or similar to Future.

Have a look at this site.

There's no direct equivalent in Australia. Up until a few years ago, when it was discontinued, the nearest we had was Johnson's Pledge One Go, which was similar but not the same. The next nearest thing is Pascoe's "Long Life" which is a milky in colour and is unfriendly to acrylics.

Oh, no- not another "Pledge/Future" post!  To answer the question, definitely DO NOT use the amber stuff made for wood floors!  Use only the clear one made for tile and vinyl floors, if you can get it.

Otherwise, there are plenty of good clear coats for modeling use on the market.  (There is nothing "magic" about Pledge/Future, IMHO.)

Gimme a pigfoot, and a bottle of beer...

The only thing special about Future versus other acrylic clear coats is Future is cheap. I bought 3 bottles last year, and I'm sure I won't need another bottle of Future in my life.

You can use any acrylic clear coats.

and I'll continue my dead horse beating by saying that with the exception of using it as a canopy dip, I really wouldn't even use the new stuff as a glosscoat anymore. It's been said that the formula isn't the same, and some users have reported it just doesn't work as well (but I never had real great luck airbrushing the original Future anyway)... I'd abandon the search and look to use one of the hobby-specific clears.

According to FSM, the formula is the same. You just need to buy the right one among several different Pledge products. "Pledge Floor Care Multi-Surface Finish" is the right one.

Not sure why you didn't have luck airbrushing Future. Future is almost as thin as water and it sprays really well.  It works well for me as a decal setting solution and a protective coat for oil washes and enamel detail painting.
