Dumb question folks, if your kit has pre-colored plastic parts, do you paint them?

Yes, styrene with embedded pigments is usually translucent rather than opaque.  One can see this, and it doesn't really look like a painted surface. I always paint everything except well chromed (actually aluminized) parts.

Yes,all the time.I use primer also especially if it is a dark plastic
