buying aitbrushes online in Canada
Posted by RichardI on Friday, February 27, 2004 9:32 AM
Hey all you Canucks out there! Is there a good Canadian online seller of airbrushes? The one I was using has a fairly limited selection and want 6 weeks to get anything they don't stock. Where are you guys buying from?
Thanks,
Rich Cool [8D]

Try www.currys.com
Check this out:
I recently (last week) bought an Iwata HP-SB Plus and some other stuff from
Bear-Air.com
total order $244.00 US
Bear Air shipping charges: $25.00 US ($33.75 canadian)
They said "we will ship your order out UPS"
I said "fine"
When UPS showed up at my door, they collected an extra $101.79 cdn !!!
$49.28 cdn for GST/PST
$49.31 brokerage fee (!)
and $3.20 cdn in taxes for the brokerage fee (!!)
Total cost for my airbrush, hose, stand and crown cap after Visa exchange rate?: $501.94 cdn (!!!)

So check out Curry's, the prices may seem higher but they have free shipping and you pay only GST if your not in ontario.

Thanks, Viper but that's where I was looking. That's the place that doesn't have the brush I'm looking for (an Omni 6000) and they're quoting 6 weeks....

Rich,

Shoot me an email and I'll give you a number to call and see what kind of a deal they can do for you.
