Painting mess up!

I've used both Simple Green and Purple Power.

Purple Power is 1,000 times more effective in removing Tamiya paint than Simple Green.  Believe me.

Let us know how it goes.  I have used Simple Green, and some purple de-greaser stuff that worked pretty well also, but have yet to try it on an Tamiya paints.  Are the spray cans acrylic like their bottled paints are?

I've used Castrol Super Clean degreaser on plastic parts, and it works really well. It's pretty cheap ($5.00 for a gallon at Wal Mart) and easy to use. All you need to do is soak the part for a few hours and scrub off with an old toothbrush. Just make sure to wear protective gloves when working with it.

Yep, those are the three biggies for removing paint.

I've heard of guys using stuff like Simple Green, Easy Off oven cleaner and brake fluid. I would try Simple Green first cause it has no fumes and is kinder to the plastic. let it soak overnight then use an old toothbrush and see if it works.
