I think it was an old fine scale modeler magazine or maybe some other modeling magazine that someone painted tiger stripes paint scheme on 1/72 aircraft models. I think they were F-16's. He used a Paasche AB turbo to paint them.

Yes that is true and I have that magazine. I sure wouldn't want to use an AB turbo though as they are very difficult to work with.
