AK Interactive Primer
Posted by Chili on Thursday, April 10, 2014 2:41 PM

For the life of me, I can't locate a US source for AK Interactive Primer. It comes highly recommended by many people, so I thought I would try it out. I've  looked at MegaHobby, Sprue Brothers & Scalehobbyist. Can anyone help?

Have you checked Red Frog Hobbies? I've met the owner at a couple of shows, good guy, and his mail order is excellent.

I don't see AK products at Red Frog redfroghobbies.com/products.php

or at Scale Hobbyist www.scalehobbyist.com/.../browse.php

but, MegaHobby is a good, quick place to get things

hope this helps

I bought 6 bottles from michtoy.com.   Excellent service.   Once you use the AK primer, you probably will never go back to another primer.  IMO, the best primer for modeling.  It bites plastic, cures fast, has no smell, sprays super smoothly and is very easy to clean & very sandable.

Thanks for the tip on Michigan Toy. I found the primers I needed. What do you use as a thinner for them, and for cleaning the airbrush?

I don't thin them and use Windex to clean the AB.
