drybrushing white parts
Posted by tates on Thursday, April 24, 2014 5:47 PM

I've got some white bombracks I want to highlight with some drybrushing. What colours do you guys use? A light grey, or white with a splash of colour to darken it a bit?

I would suggest an overall wash of a gray to dirty it up a bit, then dry brush with pure white on the highlights. Make sure you clean up as much of the wash as you can first.

I use Testors steel a lot for drybrushing. It makes a weathered bare metal look, as if scraped through paint and primer to bare metal.
