I keep reading about people spraying Future with an airbrush, but what do people use to clean their airbrushes afterwards?
On my bench: Academy 1/35 UH-60L Black Hawk
Most people use Windex because the ammonia dissolves the Future. Then rinse and flush the Windex from your airbrush with water.

Thanks!
Windex can hurt your airbrush over time. I use 91% isopropyl alcohol. I run a little bit of that through and it cleans it right out.
I think I remember seeing something about alcohol, but I couldn't find it again. And I just read in my newest issue of FSM about the Windex, so thanks for that tip as well.
IPA doesn't hurt airbrush parts at all. 91% IPA completely removes Future and Tamiya acrylics.

Would IPA also work as a thinner for acrylics in an airbrush? I only ask because so far I've only used enamels.
Not for Vallejo family acrylics (Vallejo, AK & Italeri). Works great for Tamiya acrylics.
Thanks again!
