badger 200MT or badger 200NH

Looking for a good, not too expensive airbrush. Have narrowed it down to the badger 200MT or badger 200NH. Any opinions? What are their differences? Thanks for any replies!

Also, I can run these off my regular old home air compressor as long as it is set to 20-25 psi and have a moisture trap?

From what I could find, the 200MT looks like a 200NH with a shorter handle.  There doesn't appear to be any information about it on the Badger website.  The nozzle size isn't specified, so it's kind of hard to tell how it compares.  Unless you need a short handle, I would stick with the more common 200NH.  The NH is a nice single action airbrush with a wide range of spray pattern.

Your compressor should work fine.

Thanks Don. Excellent site. Have you heard of the Paasche SI? It seems similar to the Badger 200, but more readily available.

I've seen pictures of it.  It does look similar to the 200, but I don't really know anything about it.  You might want to look for some reviews.

Thank you, Don for your replies, and your excellent reviews. I went with this

www.amazon.com/.../ref=sr_1_3

Which includes the Badger 200nh, and I might be able to use the paint it comes with.

Thanks again.

Mike
