Thanks Don, I really wanted to keep the clear. But I did get a lot of feed back that I may opt to just changing the color and lose the clear. Oh well. Thanks a bunch.

If you need to keep it transparent I think you are out of luck.  If you can let it get dark, beginners books on painting (either oil or acrylic) often cover very well mixing of paint to get colors you want- try library.

Clear Plastics Help
Posted by deltakilo on Friday, August 15, 2014 10:28 AM

Hi guys, I need help on some paint process. I’m doing a kit bash at the moment, but these kits involve some clear plastics. I have a green clear plastic and need them to be clear orange for it to be in line with the color of my kit.

I know tamiya clear red + clear yellow with variations in mixes can be clear yellow. But I need my clear green turned to clear orange. Now, has anyone here tried doing this? Need some help on the process. Thanks in advance.
