Just an update. I got the Humbrol but also got MM camo brown as that looked very close to the box artwork color. I'm going to spray both on some white card stock and see what's what.

Hey stik, I've used Humbrol in the past to good results so that's maybe what I'll go with. Just have to check the LHS and see what they got. Thanks buddy!

What paint brand(s) do you prefer? Humbrol's Wood, 110 is matched to their old IJN/IJA Light Brown color from the old Authentic Colors line.

Hi all, I'm trying to figure out what's the closest match for the brown paint of a Ki-44 "Shoki".  I'm doing one that was based in Saigon in 1942.  It looks to be a light brown similar to the color that was used on SEA camouflage during theVietnam war. Any ideas would be most welcome!
