Hi everyone,
I know some of you strip the chrome off of chrome parts and coat it with Alclad. My question is: is Alclad meant to be airbrushed only or can I also use it with a regular paintbrush for tiny parts (car door handles, for example).
Thank you
Romponifele
Alclad is really meant to be airbrushed but for small areas it can be brush painted, for door handles you should be fine but you wont get the best shine from it, then again for that size I can't imagine anyone seeing it.
You will need to seal it pretty quick with a varnish as any handling will remove the shine and it will stand out even on a small part

I usually use Bare Metal foil for auto door handles. Just an idea for you...
