Paasche VL problems
Posted by JMorgan on Thursday, November 6, 2014 11:42 PM

My VL is 25 years old and all of a sudden doesn't pass air. The needle and orifice and tip are all clean. I figure the packing nut and o ring have worn out. I disassembled it and have no idea how to get these out to replace them. Any suggestions?

I doubt whether the packing nut is your problem.  It isn't part of the air path.  You might want to look at this page where it says "No air comes out."

Shoot lacquer thinner through it for a few times. Then take it apart then inspect then assemble. Now shoot the type it thinner you use.I whould use a badger type of airbrush.
