I don't know what Flory washes do to freshly painted Alclad, but If you let the clear coats dry for a couple of days it won't have any effect on them. They are sludge-washes though, so the surfaces texture has a lot to do with how strong the effect is. You simply brush the wash on everywhere and let it dry, then wipe it off with a damp piece of cloth. Satin and flat paint will be stained by the washes, but on glossy surfaces it should only darken the recesses after everything is wiped off.
