Paint getting into trigger area of Badger 105
Posted by SubarooMike on Thursday, December 11, 2014 5:10 PM
Hello modelers! I have had my Badger 105 for a little less then a year now but all of the sudden I am having a small problem. The AB sprays fantastically; however, I keep getting paint leaking into the trigger area. I always keep the AB pointed down so I have no idea how this happens. This problem started a few sessions ago. Paint is a pain in the a** to clean out of there! Thanks for your time and help!

HI!

It sounds like a bad seal or ring in the body of the airbrush. Badger has a lifetime warranty. Contact them about sending it back and they will repair it no charge, But they hit you with a return shipping charge though. Let us know how  it goes,

Just realized I posted this in the wrong thread!   Sorry folks!

I feel the complete opposite LOL    MM sprays extremely well, but Tamiyas acrylic is always a breath of fresh air. No smell, no tip dry (when used with their thinners), and alcohol clean up.

Mike I have two 105's and they both spray very well. I'm 90% Tamiya acrylic and within the last six months I started using regular Windex as part of my cleaning process. Windex actually eats at the acrylic (try setting a small piece of styrene in a glass of Windex and you'll see what happens over some time), so I go through my normal cleaning process an added some Windex near the end. Then when I'm done with the brush, I'll leave a small amount of Windex in the brush to eat at those little areas thats easy to miss. When I start it up for the next use its nice and clean. I think everybody has a way of doing it but for me this works great. Terry
