Hi Dan, I agree with midnightprowler, you have to mix that stuff really well to get all that white matting agent in the bottle dispersed through the varnish properly and spray light coats just until you see the matt effect, it is easy to put on too much. You don't need much to do the job, that stuff will render a high gloss finish dead flat with very little.

My guess is one of a couple of things, not stirred well enough, too heavy a coat, or too high humidity.

Recently I tried airbrushing (Aztec 430) a layer of Humbrol "Matt Cote", but instead matting the surface I got some sort milk-like fog over it, what am I doing wrong ???
I thinned the "Matt Cote" with Humbrol Super Enamel Thinner...
