Paasche VL 1210 questions

Hello all, for Christmas, my wife got me an airbrush, a Paasche VL 1210 to be exact. Now to my understanding, the needle/head is 4 parts. The needle, tip, aircap body, and aircap. My airbrush came with this deal:







The tip and cap are actually one piece. Now I know all the new Paasche airbrushes have a free floating tip that is held in place by the aircap body. So is this thing just an old model with a different set up, or is this a part from a completely different airbrush, and I am dead in the water until I get the correct pieces?
