I've found that future requires multiple coats in order to leave a smooth surface.
I have never sprayed Future. It has always brushed on quite smooth for me, might want to give that a shot. hth

Nathan T Ok, got it. Future always sprayed rough for me. I junked it and use Alclad Aqua gloss or Tamiya clear gloss. Thin the smoke down even more and lower the psi a bit and see what happens.

Rodger that; Thanks for the help!
No, no, I mean that they are spraying that way separately
Leave out the Future! Tamiya smoke is gloss already. Thin the smoke with Tamiya white cap thinner around 80% and after a few passes it should start to show
Hello modelers! I went to lay down a little bit of Tamiys smoke today (thinned 50:50 and more at times) and Future (sprayed straight) and both seemed to have dried -- not very smooth... The humidity in the house is 40% even and temp is 74F. I sprayed at 15-20 PSI and lower at times. Not sure whats going on here lol Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Note: all my other paints sprayed fine, so no bent needle etc.
