Easy paint remover

A few weeks ago, I forgot to mask the inside of a canopy that I was spray painting, resulting in paint going where it wasn't meant to be. I was using Testor's enamel paint. I took some Ronsonol lighter fluid to the affected areas, and the paint came off without damaging the plastic on the canopy. Sure was a lot easier than sanding or using oven cleaner. I wouldn't recommend using it on a large area, but it did a great job on cleaning up a small mistake. Thought I'd pass it along.

Cool. I use that stuff to thin oil paints for weathering (over Future, not enamel).  Needless to say, there's no smoking around my models.

I had a friend who was thinning Model Master enamels with it for airbrushing. I remembered that I had some of that in the garage that I had bought for my lighter. I'm glad it didn't harm the plastic. I'll have to get around to seeing how well it will thin enamels for airbrushing.
