Sounds good guys. I'll give it a couple days and try my hand at it. It'll be the first time masking for me. Thanks very much for the feedback!

2 days. I have never had a problem with Tamiya acrylics when masking.

Rooster - For Tamiya acrylics, thinned with either their X-20 or lacquer thinner, I give it one full day or more. It can be safely handled before that, but to ensure it doesn't get pulled up by the tape, waiting that extra bit of time seems worth it. Tamiya clear coat seems the same.

Hey all. How long should I wait before masking Tamiya acrylics? I'll be using Tamiya tape and masking putty. Thanks!
