Ok, now that I have a real computer instead of my phone, I looked up color H on the Revell 1/32 Mosquito instructions. It is indeed RAF Grey Green AKA RAF Cockpit Green. Start looking for the appropriate shade in your preferred paint line.

It's a two page download that gives you a match to Model Master & Polly Scale, which is a good start. The IPMS Stockholm website is another good source for color matching by country and time period. Hope this helps you!

If it is the primary base color in the cockpit, that is Grey Green, the standard RAF/FAA color used in WWII aircraft of theirs. Tamiya's Cockpit Green XF-71 is a good substitute. Or Model Master, Humbrol, and several other companies make the proper shade in their paint lines. Heck, the old Testors square bottle OD Green (NOT Olive Drab though) is pretty close. Tone it down with some white and you're there.

Hello stikpusher, Sorry about that H is a interior color consisting of 33%yellow matt 33%sea green matt and 34%stone gray matt. Thanks for responding to my question. I am going to see what i can find on line . thanks Rory

Pawel, thank you for your direction and advice, From the information on line i see Revell is not the best out there, but for learning i find the price point great.  I am looking forward to building a tamiya or edward  kit once i know i can do the kit justice. Exactly. The actual colors used on RAF Mosquitos are easily found online. Then you just need to find the colors in your preferred available paint line(s). Without having the instruction sheet in front of me, as most all of us here can say, color "H" has no meaning to us. Is it an interior color? An exterior color?

I personally don't like the manufacturer (and Revell is notorious here) to tell you to mix paints - that's a very uncomfortable thing to do. What I normally do in such cases is to try to determine the "right" colour - for example as specified by the Royal Air Force - and then try to match a colour by my favourite paint manufacturer. First you'd have to research - google phrase like "Mosquito camouflage colours 1944". You then get the nemae of the original colour like "Slate Gray", then you google, say "Slate Gray Vallejo" and tha tshould do the trick. Pure fun, isn't it?
