Well;
How to solve that .Paying close attention to the color under the good old " Ott " light . I put four colors on the bench , Next to my last tin of this color . I took a 1/4" brush and drew some of the Humbrol across it .The paper was the " Extra Bond " office paper . When dry I did it again .Then I sprayed the bottom half of the paper sheet with Craft Clear flat .
I did the thing with the Humbrol again . Now after they were good and dry , I compared it to a drop . The swipe over clear was a better match . All I had to do then was put a drop of lt.gull grey "flat " , One drop of Classic White and two drops of Lt.Tan on the mixing pallett ( one of those craft pallets for acrylics) Mix well and using that flat brush , Put a streak going away from the teak streak .
When I got a perfect match I recorded the mix and now have more of it than I'll use in a while . I have mixed up five bottles of the stuff ( cleaned out TESTORS glue bottles ) I guess I won't run out for a while. Do Not mix brands of paint on this though .Stick to the brand you use either acrylic or regular flat paint !
