Masking over fresh paint

How long after I spray my Tamiya white from a can should I let it dry bfor I mask flor the next color. Don't want to pull it off with tape and should I wait just as long to clear over them both?

If it's a gloss color, you should allow at least 72 hours between coats; I don't like to take chances, so I usually allow a week between coats, especially with gloss coats. Flat paints dry in about half the time of gloss paints, but I still like to err on the side of caution.
