Thanks guys, the Vallejo brand is an experiment for me as I'm trying to get away from Tamiya. I find it gives me more options but one of the big things I've discovered is you have to be real careful with the masking and the primers aren't that good. I will experiment with both ideas.

I utilize this varnish to seal each subsequent layer of paint and weathering. I find thinning it with Vallejo airbrush thinner (about a 60-40 varnish to thinner ratio) works great and it flows very smooth for me.

Vallejo Satin Varnish

Sorry to ask the same question again but recently I read a thread here that indicated some issues with the Vallejo Satin Varnish and I cant seem to find it. I've been having some problems spraying the varnish and I cant seem to get it to flow very well, can it be thinned with anything and if so what? Please advise. ICIT
