A larger size is better. .3 or so is a good choice. I find I get tip dry easily with Alclad otherwise. Especially when spraying larger areas.

I hear it's a good idea to lay a coat of Gloss black base before using the polished aluminum from Alclad.

(Not gloss black though)

Exactly what Fly says, it wont take long with light coats to start to see the effect.  I also will point out that your base needs to be FLAWLESS!!!!  Any slight imperfection will show up more defined than you would think.

Just remember to use thin coats and build up slowly.  It is possible to apply too much.

I've used it through both 0.2 & 0.4 without any issue, using the 0.2 for detail like landing gear & 0.4 for larger areas.

Just wondering what you recommend for needle size when spraying Alcad II Polished Aluminum and Chrome? The bigger/smaller the needle the better?
