Airbrush Compressor choices
Posted by chipper on Thursday, June 11, 2015 1:57 PM

It's time for a new compressor and I was wondering, instead of spending $100 on another diaphragm compressor.  Can I run down to Homer and buy a garage type 100 lb pancake compressor that will do double duty, airbrush and my nail guns?  Say yes because I'd love to kill two birds with one stone for a change.  Noise is not a problem since I'm already almost deaf.  Also, can a Badger regulator/moisture trap control that much pressure?  Thanks

Noise not a problem so, Yes and Yes if the regulator gauge goes to 100PSI.

The only reason I moved my pancake out of shop was noise- otherwise it was a great compressor.
