It works well for helping to lube and seal components, to prevent poor air sealing from allowing reverse air flow back into the cup. Check Don's Airbrush website, it's explained well there.

For the threads. I apply Beeswax to the threads of my Iwatas and H&S once a year or so. I don't use it on the nozzle threads, though.

While looking up some spare parts for my Badger 105 I came across beeswax listed. I'm wondering the purpose of it. I imagine it would be for the threads perhaps?
