old english furniture for a wash
Posted by Floyd H on Sunday, August 2, 2015 3:06 PM

I read in a past FSM of someone using Old English furniture polish as a wash. Of course now I can't find the article but what i want to know is if the liquid was thinned and with what? Also were there any quirks as to it;s effect on enamels, lacquer or acrylics?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Floyd-you'll have better chance of getting an answer if you post in the Tools & Techniques under the Paint & Airbrush section.

I'm curious to find out if Old English can be used as a wash.

I sent a message to ask to move it.
