Testors makes this special "sealer" clear coat for sealing Metallizer lacquers after airbrushign and buffing.I have this product but if we are going to be applying decals, the model should be sealed with acrylic Future anyway, so the decals adhere properly, no?Any thoughts/comments?
The model doesn't have to be sealed with Future for decals.

Using the sealer loses the bare metal look of Metalizers. Once it is sealed with that stuff, it looks like paint. And the finish of metalizers is so smooth, as said above no sealer is needed.
But (there is always a but), in the long run any clear decal film will show with age as they discolor with time, and the decals will stand out. We are talking over many years, but just a heads up.

U is for URANIUM... BOMBS!

Yes sir, that is sure right. Here's an example of what Stik's talkin' about:
Those dark stains were certainly not there when that Starfighter was finished 20-25 years ago, trust me. I guess we can just call that "weathering" now, right?

Is Testors sealer a lacquer clear coat or something special for their metalizers? Also, does Allclad lose it's metalic appearance if a clear coat is applied over it?

A clear coat alters the appearance of a paint underneath it whether it's Alclad or not. It's due to the physics of light, and there's nothing we can do.
I've heard many raves about alclad lacquers --go for those.
