Anyone familiar with us art supply paints? They were " recommended " by amazon based on shopping history. Seems like a good deal, any thoughts.

I've found Amazon ability to guess what I may want to buy based on searches and previous purchases has been a total strike out!

Shopping at HL with 40% off coupons works better for me than shopping at onlin art stores.

Unfortunately, the biggest art supply mail order house in the country (so far as I know) has a name that the FSM server censors. Maybe I can sneak in the web address though. Let's see: www.dickblick.com .

Aha! It worked!

This place has an enormous stock of paints, brushes, papers, frames, and just about everything else in the art field. And its prices are pretty good. It's worth browsing.

There are also quite a few *** Blick retail stores in various parts of the country - but of course they can only stock a fraction of what's available via mail order.

Youth, talent, hard work, and enthusiasm are no match for old age and treachery.
