Has anyone tried the new Ammo paint from Mig Jiminez

Just saw a YouTube video from Genessis models regarding Ammo paint.  He liked them saying they can be sprayed from the bottle.  Layering the coats is the way to paint.  Color selection looks really good too.  John

What is ammo paint?  Is this for painting bombs, rockets, artillery shells?

Don I guess it's just the name given to the line of acrylics from the mig jiminez brand. It looks like there is a whole spectrum of colors. Armor aircraft etc. John

I have used some of the Ammo of Mig colors, specifically the colors for USAF aircraft and the rubber/tire black. The colors do spray nicely right out of the bottle and provide a nice finish. There is a little bit of a learning curve to use them correctly, but it is very basic. The idea as Genesis models stated, apply in thin layers is correct, otherwise you get a really funky orange-peel look. I am beginning my switch to these colors as my primary selection. I like the way they go down and the range of colors available. To me they are very similar to AK Interactive paints. They also are easily applied with a small brush for small areas, not sure how they will work on large areas.
