I just tested out Ammo's Pigment Fixer neat out of the bottle, and it has some properties that I'm less than excited about.
First of all, it has been 3+ hours since it was applied, and the pigments have yet to "return to their original color". Does it just need longer to dry?
Secondly, the fixer has a satin-going-on-glossy finish which is rather jarring over Testors Dull-Cote.
Both of these things sound like they might be fixed by diluting the fixer with white spirit. What is your experience with pigment fixer? Do other company's fixers differ?
