I leave mine off, I find they are pain. Another extra thing to clean,
have to remove all the time to check levels and mine falls off if there is spill anyway
not worth it for me. How about you ? like them or leave them.

I don't usually use them, but when I know I'll be using a relatively full cup and in an awkward position, yes I do. Mine are Badger, they fit well to retain paint in cup, but also pull off easily enough when checking level or refilling.
I'm elderly and shaky to the point that with a little fatigue from extended sessions, it's a real mess to clean up if I do slop some over the side.
So, usually no, but when needed I find it a real benefit.

I only use mine when the airbrush is not in use. To keep the dust out of the cup.

I use them, and right after you spill paint on an almost done paint job, you will too.

Patrick,
LOL - I resemble that remark. At 81 I've got a couple (or more) of pant legs with spots/splashes that were'nt there when I bought them and in strange colors too. Elderly, bah humbug, youth is wasted on the young .

One of the reasons I use suction feed is that I find while airbrushing I twist the brush all over the place, including on its side occasionally. I fear trusting those caps on gravity feed. While the little air hole on a suction will slowly let a little paint out, I don't get too much out unless I keep it sideways for awhile.
