Hey All,
I started airbrushing about two months ago. I bought a two-in-one starter kit from "MASTER Airbrushes" which came with a brush and a compressor. All went well with the first attempt. However, the airbrush in the kit literally fell apart so I decided it was time to upgrade to another brush.
Little did I know...the new brush I bought "Paasche Talon" does not have a hose which is compatable with the compressor I have.
Are there any options I can try such as possible hose adaptors before I go out and buy a new compressor?
Thanks!
Sure is, adaptors are available for all sorts of connections. Don't know what you have local but if you type airbrush adaptor into ebay you should find what you want.
Good luck.
Mick.

On The Bench.
Tiger 1 and Tooheys.
Try tcpglobal.com. They have adapters you need.
BlackSheepTwoOneFour Try tcpglobal.com. They have adapters you need.
I had the same issue, TCP Global has them for $5.30 US and free shipping, they ship fast and are very reliable.
On the Bench: Lots of unfinished projects!
The others are right, adaptors are plentiful. One caution, not always are the threads compatible, regardless what the lable says. I ordered one at my local hobby shop for a Badger AB to Paasche hose, thread pattern was close, but not a proper fit. Once ordered one from Coast Airbrush, same story.
I suggest, depending on where you live, try to source one locally and test fit before buying. The ones I ordered from Wyn Wyn were perfect, have no idea if they could hook you up, but worth a try.
Too much foreign stuff now provided to US dealers, quality and servicability often of poor grade. As in the first airbrush you bought. Sorry you got a bum deal.

How I came about with getting an adapter for mine is I had a Paacshe a/b and hose and it won't fit on a Iwata NEO dual action a/b. So I went to the site I recommended and cross reference an adapter for Paacshe hose to Iwata a/b.
TCP Global is one site I would go to for adapters.
Stay away from Harbor Freight. You'll never find any correct fit adapters.
