Many good compressors out there, some are inexpensive at around 50-100 bucks, most of those can be quite noisy and not terribly efficient for lengthy spraying sessions.
Some years ago I bought a California Air Tools model 1650A, twin piston cylinders with good sized tank, it gives me around 12-15 minutes of spray time between compressor refill time. The refill time is only about one minute, so the cylinders don't run long enough to generate much heat, they stay quite cool through the run cycles.
Running at cool temps means less condensation, I never get water droplets when I open the tank drain, only a very fine mist, hard to see actually. I'm extremely happy with mine, recommend it highly. I paid $180 at Home Depot, since have seen it as low as $150 at a couple of hardware stores. (Dang.)
Good luck at finding what will work well for you.
