I agree with MMF. You get what you pay for. Although, you can get descent airbrush for $60 or so just maybe not a great detail gun. Also, check out www.airbrushcity.com, they have some reasonable prices. I bought a compressor, a paasche vl, and two other cheap airbrushes for $200. The Paasche is a great overall gun. It is a brute and can handle anything. Too big for me thought. I would go with a really nice one like Iwata.

Actually, I like the Anthem and 360 just as much as the Omni's.
They are all excellent instruments.

The VL is a good brush. Just make sure your compressor can handle it as it uses more cfm than other brushes. Check out an omni you will get a good airbrush for the money.

You could buy a Badger Anthem for around $50 but that would be the airbrush alone with no air hose or color cup. I agree with the others in that you should save another $20 or so more and get something like an Anthem set for around $70. Wink [;)]

Personally, I would rather save up a few more bucks and get a good airbrush from the word go.
Buy cheap now and there is a good chance that you will be upgrading the AB within a year or two, if you look after your AB well it will last you MANY years and will give you good service throughout those years.

Airbrushes, IMHO, are among the tools you shouldn't buy cheap.

In 30yrs of modeling I have owned 6 AB's 2 Badger, 2 Tamiya and 2 Iwata, no longer got the Badger ones though.
