Is lacquer nail polish to hot for styrene plastic. I want to paint a car with a pearl color nail polish. Any help would be appreciated

It shouldn't be provided that you use a good primer underneath. Test it out on a spare piece of plastic to check.

Yep- prime it with a primer intended for use with lacquer.  Auto primers like Duplicolor and such will work. Krylon primer used to- they have eliminated the stuff that used to work, however. I think Rustoleum also makes a primer that works under lacquer.
