Compressor walking away syndrome

I used a mesh/grid type rubber door mat to solve that problem for me

I use a basic cheap black computer mouse pad....it worked great for me.

There are some pads sold at hardware stores designed for machinery.  Others for standing on.  I took a cheap way out for my latest compressor, a small Iwata.  Main reason was for noise- it vibrated the top surface of the stand I put it on and sounded like a drum role, but it was also walking around a lot.  I had been putting down some patio blocks made of recycled tire rubber.  They had been on sale at a bargain price, and I put one of those under the compressor.  Worked very well.

What type of compressor do you have (big--small) .hobby --tank no tank ..what I did was to frame in the base with 1/2 inch square strips of wood like baseboard molding ..works for me. .

I bolted the feet of my compressor to a board that sits under my spray booth. It has moved as much as a millimeter.
