I'm new to the hobby. Completed some plastic models when I was a kid with my Dad but now getting back into things.
Trying to airbrush a 1/72 tank with Vallejo Air olive drab. I have very little airbrushing experience. I primed with spray can and then airbrushed the entire thing flat black with XF-1. The flat black went on perfect.
The next day I tried my olive drab Vallejo Air. This is the first time I've used it. The spray came out kind of "splattery." I was using a Badger 200 (old) and Propel. I shook the hell out of it and mixed it with a toothpick in the airbrush siphon jar and still same thing.
I actually bought a new airbrush today - a Iwata Revolution CR with a Silver Jet compressor. I've tephloned all the threads and the PSI is an easy 20 so I don't think that's the issue.
Is the paint bad? Am I doing something wrong?
