I never used Italieri paints.

Were you thinking of this :

Model Master Blue Grey

It looks close to what you are looking for.

I haven't tried those exact paints, but did spray Italeri's insignia red with no problems.  They do need to be thinned for this, and I always use Future's clear acrylic.  This way, the binding properties of the paint isn't drastically affected when cut down like it would be if using just water.

Acrylics do dry fast, so some might add an acrylic retarder to the mix if doing a long spraying session.  I just remove the protective needle cap to avoid dealing with buildup there.  The needle tip will also experience buildup.  Here, I just use my fingertips to remove excess when needed, or you can do like Eric (EBergerud) suggests, and keep a moist brush handy to wipe away.

regards,

Jack

LifeColor has what you're looking for :

I do believe Aeromaster has it too. You'll have to look in eBay for Aeromaster colors. Do a search for Aeromaster and you might find it.

You can also try looking for individual bottle of Italieri paints in various online hobby stores too.

Good luck.

Thanks BlackSheep. I know MM has it but I foget the exact number of the paint. I believe they call it gray blue. I was wondering about the Italeri paints, have you used them? I could use every color in that set, but I'm not sure about the paint. I think they have a connection to Vallejo.

OK, I havent seen much info on the Italeri line of accrylics. I was looking at the WWII Navy paint set they have available, but I have never used this brand as far as paints go. Has anyone used this stuff, and if so is it fairly trouble free? Vallejo has proven to be a bit of trouble, although I have had sucess with the stuff, I prefer Tamiya of MM when the day is done. Vallejo is great for painting figures, but spraying the stuff can get a bit frustrating if your shooting for an extended period of time. I need FS35189 nonspecular blue, which the Italeri kit offers, so I may like to give it a try.
