I am also not too sure, but from what I see they are all coded by letter and not given in metric sizes. Not really a problem for me as my LHS stocks all the different adapters and converters, but frustrating when having to answer questions as I don't know the overseas equivalent.
Gunze Sangyo marks their stuff as "1/8(S)":

But than Tamiya has both an AB and a Compressor out where you can't attach "S fitting" stuff, the rest of theirs is compatible.
The Airtex Compressor(German??) I am getting also uses the marking of "S" and I got their "quick fit" connector last night for my AB and it works fine.
Aaargh, getting frustrated.
P.S.: I reckon 90% of the AB sold in Japan are made at the factory regardless of the name, exception being Aztek but than why should I pay $200 for the 470 when I can get an Iwata HP-C Hi-line equivalent for $118.
