Thank you.  I have been away from the hobby since 1976.  Health forced me into retirement, and I'm back at it.  I have a lot to learn!

Tamiya XF-17 Sea Blue is flat coat, not glossy coat.

Anything listed with an X  followed by a number (ie: X-1 Gloss Black) are gloss and/or semi-gloss paints.

Anything listed as XF are flat paints. (ie: XF-17 Sea Blue)

I just finished airbrushing a Corsair F4U-F with Tamiya Sea Blue.  Diluted 2-1 with Tamiya thinner X-20A.  I notice that even though I had good coverage, the paint dries very dull.  Is this a common issue?
