Intro: Portable Paint Booths

In order to graduate from my cardboard box paint booth I decided on the portable approach. The one I selected was from Master Airbrush. Two 16 1/2 " booths, side by side, give me a width of 32 1/2 ".

That is a 28" Cutty Sark hull!

Here the work area is extended to 24" by placing a 9" board on top of the open desk drawer.

That is a 24" B-29 on the bench. Note the exhaust vents!

The exhaust vents go straight out the window.

From the outside, you see the left fan is on forching the vanes open.

Daisy supervises the whole operation!

Those portable airbrush booth do have the capability to put them side by side. Nothing new about that trick. Heck, any website that carries that brand will tell you that. Just sayin'...

Mick your spray booth comparison is excellent. I started this thread to let people know there are economical spray booth options. I was about to spend $400 on a 30 inch spray booth and ended up spending half as much to get a 32 inch booth(s). Thanks for your condtribution.

Nice set up, and a good example for those trying to decide on a booth. I have one of these, it was my first choice for a booth. I did consider putting two together, but its not that often i need the extra room. When i do i open out the sides and move the model across the filter as i am spraying.

I must start back on my pages, more reviews on equipment are handy. I recently looked everywhere for a comparison on LED vs fluorescent desk lamps but nothing together so I scored a cheap led lamp from Gumtree and compared it to my fluro and will do a page on that soon.
