Air compressor pressure
Posted by GrandpaStockwell on Thursday, June 30, 2016 1:33 PM

I'm still new to airbrushing.  Gor a Paasche system which came with a TC-20 compressor. I notice that if I have the pressure set at, 40 psi, the pressure goes to 20 psi when I press the trigger.  Is this normal?  Thanks.  Wayne

Yes. This is the pressure drop as the air flows through the airbrush. Adjust the air pressure at the compressor while depressing the airbrush trigger. The larger the airbrush nozzle, the more the psi drop.

What sort of Paasche airbrush did you pick up?

I agree with Nathan T - adjust when depressing the trigger.
