Mr. Color paint issue
Posted by pmm736 on Wednesday, July 13, 2016 2:24 PM

Came across an issue today which I've never seen before.  I was spraying Mr. Color paint with my Badger 360 AB, thinned with laquer thinner at 20 psi.  I started seeing fibers which I first thought were cat hairs that somehow got near my spray table, but as I continued to spray it became like I was making brown cotton candy.  My compressor is in the garage and the air hose runs into the den inside the house.  I do have a moisture trap.  I've been building for a long time, and I have used this brand before with no problems. Any thoughts on what the problem could be?

Paint is too thick add more thinner, and the only thinner I would use is Mr. Color leveling thinner in a 1:1.5 paint to thinner ratio
