compressor question
Posted by ardvark002 on Thursday, September 15, 2016 8:38 PM

Hi,  This might be a dumb question, but i believe there are any dumb questions. My paascha d-3000r compressor just went gunnybags on me. I want to buy a new one. Will a tankless on demand one shut off when there is no demand?    THX, AARDVARK

Yep, the "on demand" types shut off when there is back pressure in the line. Depress the airbrush trigger and the pressure in the line falls. At a certain point (determined by how high or low you have set the gauge) it will kick in. When the trigger is released (ie closed, no demand) it will run for a few seconds to pressurise and then stop.
