I'll second the notion that brand loyalty runs high, the old Chevy/Ford issue. I've used AB's from 5 different companies, none were bad, but a few did perform much more to my liking.

My two front runners are Badger and Iwata, both stellar performers. Iwata is much more expensive, I find they do not perform any noticeable amount better than Badger, so Badger is my mainstay now.

The Badger line seems to me to be more robust, the parts are more substantial and less prone to handling damage, plus the parts replacement costs are MUCH lower, when routine maintenance of heavily used AB's is completed.

An important Badger feature that I have learned about is factory service, if needed. Quick turn so you aren't without your airbrush for long, very reasonable repair costs as well.

Don's Airbrush website gets my strongest recommendation, most of my airbrush knowledge came from there, (not that I know so darned much.) Good luck with your search.

Ditto about Don's site

I will say that I use an Iwata HP-C Eclipse

It's double action,gravity fed,easy to use,and easy to clean.

I concur with BlackSheep. There are fans of almost any airbrush you could name. Don's airbrush site is fantastic, and is definitely worth looking at...again and again.

Dwayne or Dman or just D.  All comments are welcome on my builds.

You will hear a wide variety of opinions. Your best bet is go here and make your own decision and decide how much you're willing to spend on an airbrush:

I would like to hear some feed back on air brush brands pros and cons.

I am just getting back to modeling and may need to up-date some tools.

thanks
