The main question is why?
I've had to in the past on RC subs and boats that were in constant contact with water where most acrylic clears, even the Vallejo polys will cloud over time submerged.
I've used both Testors Dullcote and Tamiya's clear synthetic lacquer from rattle cans in successive thin coats with good results, but it would never be my first choice.
There are so many great clears out there, what is the project?
