Chipping fluid and paint questions / first time trying this

I weather with artist oil paints thinned in mineral spirits.  So if I use Tamiya acrylic red brown mix for the rust base coat, then chipping fluid, then the Tamiya acrylic topcoat, do I still have to seal the topcoat before weathering.... Will mineral spirits affect the chipping fluid and the acrylic topcoat.  In general mineral spirits do not affect tamiya acrylic paint, but on top of the chipping fluid, it may?

No,it will not affect the paint layer under the fluid,only the paint layer on top of the fluid.

After the chipping is done,you want to seal everything with a clear coat,perhaps a gloss if you are going to decal,but if there are no decals,then just seal it with whatever is appropiate for your filtering and weathering.
