Hi Guys,
I am going to use the AK heavy chipping fluid for the first time and I had some questions.
Main question: Since the fluid works to remove the acrylic topcoat when rubbed, I'm presuming the base coat that shows through (dark rust in my case) should be enamel so as not to be disturbed by the fluid?
When using chipping fluid or even hairspray, when you are all done with this technique will the longevity of the paint on the model be affected by doing this. In other words the topcoat is now over either chipping fluid or hairspray. Not really a good bond for the topcoat. Or does the chipping fluid cure after a certain time?
Thanks for insight
