SEA Camo Q
Posted by goldhammer on Wednesday, March 08, 2017 12:40 PM

On the SEA camo scheme, from my weak memory, Tamiya's callout seems a little dark for the gray/white undersides.  Looking at MM4766, Camoflage Gray either straight or with MM Flat white mixed in to lighten it up some.  Probably around 10-15% white.

Thoughts or advice welcome, or what anyone uses as a suitable sub.

Model Master, Humbrol, Gunze, and Italeri all have Gray 36622 in their line ups for the SEA schemes. No need to mix Tamiya colors, unless that is the only paint you have on hand.  I personally never add white to mine, but that's a personal preference.

Thanks stik-  the MM 4766 is shown as FS36622 on the bottle, so I'll go straight up with it.
